Candle care

  • Before lighting your candle for the first time, trim the wick to 5mm and burn for at least 2-3 hours. This will allow for a full melt pool and help avoid `tunnelling`. Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.

  • Always keep a burning candle in sight.

  • Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

  • Keep candles away from flammable items such as curtains, furniture, carpets and books/papers.

  • Place the candle on a heat resistant flat surface. If you have a candle lid, this can be used.

  • Keep candles away from drafts or vents/fans and make sure the room is well ventilated.

  • Burn a candle down to the last 1cm of wax and not further. This is the end of the candle`s life.

  • Leave at least 10cm between multiple burning candles.

  • Extinguish a candle if the flame is too high, is smoking or is flickering. Once the candle is cool, trim the wick to 5mm try again check there is no draft, this should resolve the problem.

  • Do not touch or try to move a lit candle once the wax is molten.

  • Keep the wax clean, do not allow debris to gather in the candle.

  • Extinguish candles before retiring to bed.

  •   … and finally, enjoy your candle!

Diffuser care

  • When opening remove the stopper and place the reeds in the diffuser liquid. Do this carefully on a flat surface protecting your hands with plastic gloves if possible.

  • Place the reeds in the liquid, you can use all six or start with 3 or 4 to test the strength first if you prefer.

  • Turn the reeds approximately every two weeks to refresh the scent. Use gloves or a paper towel and wash your hands with soap and warm water afterwards.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • The diffuser will last for approximately 6 months.
